MES Solutions for The Typical Discrete Industry

Typical Workshop Management Problems:

1. Personnel

Quality management lacks systematicity; equipment management is relatively discrete; process planning and equipment are poorly correlated.

Monthly reports are numerous, and statistics are time-consuming and labor-intensive; employee performance cost statistics are unclear.

2. Equipment

The actual availability of equipment lacks timeliness; equipment failures lack timely feedback; equipment parameters lack monitoring.

Equipment adjustment and idle time account for a large proportion, the process is not monitored, and there is a lack of effective connection between people and machines.

3. Process

Process and drawing control are separated from actual production and lack a unified platform; process material traceability and equipment are separated.

Equipment efficiency lacks actual monitoring; OEE indicators are difficult to obtain real-time and effective analysis; tool use is not monitored.

4. Planning

Production progress feedback is not timely; semi-finished product transfer is not smooth, and operating efficiency is low; production scheduling and reporting are not connected.

Output, equipment efficiency, and cost statistics are not timely, and management lacks an intuitive understanding of factory benefits.

Typical MES Applications

Product System Structure

The SIGER precision machining digital factory system structure is based on the MDC communication module at the bottom layer to complete the device-side connection. It combines the BOM and MRP master plan in ERP to complete the production task docking, and constructs the corresponding full manufacturing process management module under the precision machining scenario, providing an integrated solution for precision machining with all elements and scenarios including man, machine, material, method, and environment. Based on the reconstruction of the full-element structure of data, the SIGER data analysis engine drives the end-to-end data interconnection and analysis of the equipment to complete the end-to-end automatic control of the equipment.

The overall architecture of SIGER's precision machining digital factory adopts a separated architecture, with the bottom layer being MDC (machine data collection) and the middle layer being a big data streaming processing architecture, which can support the simultaneous integration of data from hundreds to thousands of devices without delay; the upper layer combines ERP and PLM to complete the integration of business scenarios, providing full-module management of precision machining digital factories, and meeting the needs of managers at all levels to obtain workshop information to the greatest extent, so that managers at all levels can truly see the production status in real time and know the production results at any time.
